Owner and crafter, Kurt Kinnunen has years of experience building high-quality, premium kayak racks. Historically he’s worked with reclaimed timber and northern white cedar but is now also offering a more environmentally and sustainable option for high-quality kayak storage racks.
With a look that mimics real wood, these premium-quality poly kayak racks are made from 100% plastic and contain over 90% recycled HDPE plastic material. Common HDPE products are gallon style milk, water, and juice containers, as well as some laundry detergent and shampoo bottles. With no wood fillers to rot, peel, weather, or blister, you’ll enjoy years and years of virtually maintenance-free kayak storage. But don’t forget, when you are through with it, the entire poly kayak rack is recyclable.
